Cone Bellows

Cone rubber bellows are designed to protect moving components and ensure reliable sealing against dust, oils, moisture, and other external agents. Because of their conical geometry, they provide controlled deformation and high flexibility. Therefore, they are suitable for linear motion, articulated mechanisms, and systems exposed to continuous movement.

These bellows are made exclusively from rubber and technical elastomers such as NBR, EPDM, CR, or silicone. Each compound offers specific performance characteristics. For instance, NBR is suitable for environments with oils and lubricants, while EPDM provides strong resistance to weathering and elevated temperatures. As a result, material selection must be aligned with environmental conditions and mechanical stresses.

Standard cone rubber bellows are available in multiple dimensions. Nevertheless, many applications require tailor-made geometries to achieve precise fitting. Custom development allows adjustments to diameters, lengths, wall thicknesses, and convolution profiles. This approach improves sealing efficiency, increases durability, and enhances overall system performance.

Installation is straightforward, since the conical shape adapts easily to shafts, rods, joints, and similar components. Moreover, cone bellows can incorporate reinforcement fabrics, thickened areas, or integrated flanges when additional strength is necessary.

These rubber protections are widely used in machine tools, actuators, automation equipment, agricultural machinery, and various mechanical systems requiring elastic and durable shielding.
